Fortunately for me, last week, the CCA did not issue any new published opinions, but they did hand down some today in the following cases:
PD-0777-08, Gerald Wayne Smith v. State: The CCA held that a defendant claiming ineffective assistance of counsel at punishment must include some information on how he was prejudiced in his affidavit supporting the motion for new trial in order to get a hearing.
